(Los Angeles, CA) — Political Consultant and small business owner Jason R. Aula announced today that he is running for the soon-to-be-open California State Senate Eighteenth District, currently held by honorable Senator Robert M. Hertzberg. Jason R. Aula recently managed the successful field program for re-election of prominent Republican and Trump conservative Congressman Issa in San Diego. In addition in 2020, Jason R. Aula managed the American Renewal Project Evangelical field program in California State Assembly District 77, California State Assembly District 76, and California State Assembly District 73.
In the November US house election, Issa won 54 percent of the votes coming from CA Congress District 50, despite the millions of dollars spent on negative attack ads against him.
“These are troubling times, and California must take steps to prepare for what could be a very difficult financial picture in 2023,” said Aula. “I’ve helped fight for constituents in the San Fernando Valley by partnering with Assemblymember Nazarian's office in the past, and I’m looking forward to joining The State Legislature to help protect our district and promote a high quality of life for San Fernando Valley families.” In addition, Aula has worked with labor unions UTLA and SEIU 721 well serving as an intern with AFT 1521 for two years cultivating an environment of working for the best interests for all working people not partisan interest.
Jason R. Aula has a track record of accomplishments for Los Angeles County families few others can hold a candle to, including a ballot measure campaign to Bring Back Matador Football at Cal State Northridge which, is being relaunched due to fraud in 2013 by a CSUN A.S. administrator and an a CSUN administrator of finance. San Fernando Valley native Aula and NRA member is the clear choice for the State Senate seat. In 2018, he served for former Los Angeles Republican Assemblymember Danta Acosta's re-election campaign as a field organizer with a national award wining political consulting firm Murphy Nasica & Associates LLC.
In addition, Aula served Long Beach politics for eight years and also served as the Long Beach Executive Director of NORML for 2 years. Aula is widely known as one of the political experts who helped the City of Long Beach exit a discriminatory "War on Cannabis" 5 years ago, then spearheaded a series of innovative pro cannabis access pacs to help Assembly District 70 avoid a fiscal disaster during the "War on Cannabis" in the district municipalities of the City of Avalon and City of Signal Hill. As a student at Long Beach State University Aula was often targeted by student fee funded university newspaper the Union Weekly with many negative attack articles, despite this all in 2011 Aula's Associated Students Incorporated Bring Back 49er Football fee increase ballot initiative came up just short one percent of winning an additional $86 student activity to reinstate NCAA football.
